Make a robot friend with Adafruit’s CRICKIT – A Creative Robotics & Interactive Construction Kit. It’s an add-on to our popular Circuit Playground Express, FEATHER and other platforms to make and program robots with CircuitPython, MakeCode, and Arduino. Start controlling motors, servos, solenoids. You also get signal pins, capacitive touch sensors, a NeoPixel driver and amplified speaker output. It complements & extends your boards so you can still use all the goodies on the microcontroller, now you have a robotics playground as well.

  1. The Lego Arduino bot project is actually by my friend Rael: http://www.flickr.com/photos/unavoidablegrain/3472140313 He’s been planning it for a long time, I was just helping out and taking pictures.

  2. I was just googling for mention of projects involving Arduino and Lego when I stumbled upon this picture of someone else having done just what I did. Replete with the same rubber mat. And sharpie. And green rubber-band.

How lovely to see my tomfiddlery with your motor shield come full circle.

    😉

  3. This is awesome! I regret giving away my old Mindstorm kit. T_T. I wish the creator would include build instructions though.
