Breadboarding wire bundle

Wires Lrg
You asked for them, now they’re here! The breadboarding wire bundle that we include in the Arduino starter pack are now available seperately! The breadboarding wire bundle is a pack of 75 flexible stranded core wires with stiff ends molded on in red, orange, yellow, green, blue, brown, black and white. These are a major improvement over the “box of bent wires” that are sometimes sold with breadboards, and faster than stripping your own solid core wires. Makes breadboarding super fast. Available now in the Adafruit store.

  • Approximately 75 wires in a mix of colors
  • 55 short wires 4.5″ (120mm) long
  • 10 medium wires 5.5″ (150mm) long wires
  • 5 long 7.5″ (190mm) long wires
  • 5 x-tra long 10″ (250mm) long wires
  • Breadboard not included

  1. If someone can find me a DIP equivalent for a 74AC11074D, I’ll buy a bundle!

I don’t do surface mount…not yet. and the board is laid out for DIP

  2. A bundle of breadboarding wire that is…..

  3. I got a bundle of these from some sort of educational place a while back… worth their weight in gold (almost)

Now… what the world needs now, are little plugs/junctions that you can use to connect them together.

Soldering is the Command-Line-Interface black-hole when it comes to kits etc. Normal people are frightened of it. You need four arms to do it etc. If there was some cheap and easy way to plug wires together, then…

… well, I would buy them and I’m not scared of soldering. I just like plugging things together.

  4. Scratch that. I found through hole parts at Mouser. Don’t count digikey having everything.

Now what do I do with these SMT parts?
