Our video Citizen Engineer volume 01 is now a comic book/zine! Volume 01 of Citizen Engineer is available as a limited edition full color 32 page comic “SIM CARD HACKING” – the comic also comes with a SIM card reader kit! We print, trim and assemble each one on demand and they look amazing! We are doing a limited run of these, get the first printing at Adafruit Industries.

  3. This is great! It’s hard convincing people that this is something that *they* can do. The general impression is that only “brainiacs” could get something like this to work.

    Oh, also.. You may want to turn on the scroll bar for the comic book web preview. On computers with low resolutions (eg. my netbook) I can’t get to the bottom of a page to get to the controls.

    I blinked once and ordered myself a copy 🙂
    While I already have a SIM Card Reader from Adafruit, this set is collectible and marks a very interesting concept idea. Graphic novelization of useful products… unlike the most common reverse of publishing something then following it (if it becomes popular) with merchandise.
    Bravo Adafruit!

  6. I like the concept. It compares favourably to a hobby electronics magazine I was just browsing in a bookstore. I have no need for a sim card reader though, so I’ll wait to see what the next project is.
