I bet Mrs. Curry sure would have liked this information. Some lessons just need to be learned the hard way. Alfred Nobel could have used a guide like this, or at least his brother could have. Just need to give a shout out to all that have given their lives to better the scientific knowledge of all mankind. Little attention is given to these heroes…
My Girlfriend is Radiation Protection Officer, I would love to find a copy of this book! It would make for a funny gift.
curry? curry?
Marie “Curie”
Didn’t they used to drink Radium as cure all in the old days? At least until they noticed peoples jaws falling off. Sorry about how I mixed Mrs. Curie’s name up with an Asian spice. My bad.
They didn’t just drink it, it was shoved into just about every orifice in some way or another. I have seen some of the “medical” devices that were used and they are scary.
