Pt 2091
We will be updating the site this weekend, if it’s down – that’s what is going on. Orders should all go through once we’re “live” – but if something is odd. Just let us know… We are very excited, there will a new design and new sections of the site! Update: – 10pm EDT, so far so good!

Stop breadboarding and soldering – start making immediately! Adafruit’s Circuit Playground is jam-packed with LEDs, sensors, buttons, alligator clip pads and more. Build projects with Circuit Playground in a few minutes with the drag-and-drop MakeCode programming site, learn computer science using the CS Discoveries class on code.org, jump into CircuitPython to learn Python and hardware together, TinyGO, or even use the Arduino IDE. Circuit Playground Express is the newest and best Circuit Playground board, with support for CircuitPython, MakeCode, and Arduino. It has a powerful processor, 10 NeoPixels, mini speaker, InfraRed receive and transmit, two buttons, a switch, 14 alligator clip pads, and lots of sensors: capacitive touch, IR proximity, temperature, light, motion and sound. 1. comment test!

  2. I like the new look. It’s nice and clean and the colors are appealing to us engineer/geek types, But…

The column at the right that has the Links, Categories, Search and Archives is too wide as viewed in Firefox on my machine.

  3. hi dave!

we see that too – we will be fixing that later!

  4. I really love the new look and as stated above I defiantly think the colors go along with us engineering type. I wish the best of luck with everything and hopefully I will be ordering some more goodies/parts from you.

  5. If you enter the site via the Blog’s RSS feed, and then click on the ‘HOME’ link on the navigation bar, the resulting URL is not acceptable to ZenCart. It looks something like http://www.adafruit.com//&ZEN… instead of something useful, and the server will give you a 404 instead of a real page.

  6. Love the look!

However, the login seems to be messed up. Every time I try to login it returns me back to the main page logged out.

Also, where’d the shopping cart under the featured product go? I kinda liked that feature 🙁

  7. Craig, I believe we’ve fixed that by hard-coding the HOME button (it was relative not absolute url before)

Ilya, hmm do you have cookies turned off or have a cookie manager installed? maybe clear any old cookies or restart your browser. The sessions got cleared out and it can mangle things for a bit.

Please let us know if these problems persist!

  8. Compliments on the new graphic design for the site. Very clean and clear.

Care to share any web dev details about tools or templates or designers you used in the site-making?

  9. I don’t know whether it was clearing my cookies, or the second site update, but it did the trick!

    Thanks!

  10. Found some problems 😛

If you look into past orders, you will find that the billing address is clickable, the link leads to

    http://www.adafruit.com/index.php?main_page=shipp%3C/div

Which leads to a (rather generic :P) 404.

  11. andy – yup, we’ll do that later!

@Ilya – we will check that out, thanks!

  12. Ilya, thank you so much for telling us about problems. Its good to hear the cookies solved it. We did notice it occured for our testing account and clearing cookies fixed it. However, not finding the billing address issue. If you could send us a screenshot to support@adafruit it would be really appreciated!
