Pick and place

We are going a little pick-and-place crazy while we do research – here’s another fun video

Make a robot friend with Adafruit’s CRICKIT – A Creative Robotics & Interactive Construction Kit. It’s an add-on to our popular Circuit Playground Express, FEATHER and other platforms to make and program robots with CircuitPython, MakeCode, and Arduino. Start controlling motors, servos, solenoids. You also get signal pins, capacitive touch sensors, a NeoPixel driver and amplified speaker output. It complements & extends your boards so you can still use all the goodies on the microcontroller, now you have a robotics playground as well.

  1. Where I worked last in Calgary we bought an Essemtec pick and place which was an awesome small sized machine. They are a swiss company.

    It worked for us.

  2. Thanks for the note, Essemtec’s seem to be quite popular and they’re on our short list to investigate

  3. Cool. Looks like you finally got a chance to check out the MDC benchtop. I was drooling the first time I saw it in action 🙂

  4. Sadly not a video we took, but still fun to watch. zoom!
