I remember those being available when I worked at MP3.com in the early (successful) days.. maybe 2000 or early 2001? I’m sure the storage space is higher, and the price is certainly lower 🙂
I actually bought one of these. Sadly it didn’t work in my car, My car kept spitting it out saying it was broken. I believe that the two wheels in the center of the device spun independently and that made my car think the tape was broken.
