Nice overview!

Make a robot friend with Adafruit’s CRICKIT – A Creative Robotics & Interactive Construction Kit. It’s an add-on to our popular Circuit Playground Express, FEATHER and other platforms to make and program robots with CircuitPython, MakeCode, and Arduino. Start controlling motors, servos, solenoids. You also get signal pins, capacitive touch sensors, a NeoPixel driver and amplified speaker output. It complements & extends your boards so you can still use all the goodies on the microcontroller, now you have a robotics playground as well.

  1. Who do you use to manufacture your PCBs?

  2. we use advanced circuits

  3. If you’re in Europe, these guys have decent prices as well(4 layers is only 2x the price of 2 layers, for example, if you’re working with BGA), and they go down to 6 mil. At the moment they’ll also throw in a free laser cut stencil with the prototype order. It’s more $$$ than going the Chinese route, but the free stencils and < 2 weeks to your dorr means I use them for higher priority prototypes, or boards that I’m pretty sure are in their final iteration (for the free stainless steel stencil).

  4. Too bad we can’t just print the conductors and N and P regions directly with small inkjet heads. 😀
