Back order update: Ice tube clock kits ordered before 11/6 have shipped! Time is running out to get your clock before the holidays, we’re still taking orders. Eventually we’ll post the cut off for getting yours in time for the holidays. If you’re on the fence, pick one up now in the Adafruit store! Video (above) by Adafruit customer Radiorental.

As 2022 starts, let’s take some time to share our goals for CircuitPython in 2022. Just like past years (full summary 2019, 2020, and 2021), we’d like everyone in the CircuitPython community to contribute by posting their thoughts to some public place on the Internet. Here are a few ways to post: a video on YouTub, a post on the CircuitPython forum, a blog post on your site, a series of Tweets, a Gist on GitHub. We want to hear from you. When you post, please add #CircuitPython2022 and email circuitpython2022@adafruit.com to let us know about your post so we can blog it up here.

Stop breadboarding and soldering – start making immediately! Adafruit’s Circuit Playground is jam-packed with LEDs, sensors, buttons, alligator clip pads and more. Build projects with Circuit Playground in a few minutes with the drag-and-drop MakeCode programming site, learn computer science using the CS Discoveries class on code.org, jump into CircuitPython to learn Python and hardware together, TinyGO, or even use the Arduino IDE. Circuit Playground Express is the newest and best Circuit Playground board, with support for CircuitPython, MakeCode, and Arduino. It has a powerful processor, 10 NeoPixels, mini speaker, InfraRed receive and transmit, two buttons, a switch, 14 alligator clip pads, and lots of sensors: capacitive touch, IR proximity, temperature, light, motion and sound. A whole wide world of electronics and coding is waiting for you, and it fits in the palm of your hand.

  1. I wish I could assemble kits that fast 🙂

Seriously, if only I could build them quicker I could easily sell a lot more. At the moment I am working with SeeedStudio to have batches manufactured in China, which actually works out pretty cheap. It boils down to being about

  2. PS. Only half my comment has appeared – something wrong?

  3. hmm, all comments are coming fine.. maybe try again?

  4. Nice time lapse recording. Seems he inserted a few still frames in the show off. Anyways, the timing is 1 frame every 30 seconds. That was evident when I did slow it down, and looked at what the clock was displaying during the showing of it. It reads 2:31:09, then 2:31:39, then 2:32:09, and that frame is used for the remainder of the video.

  5. Blast, I ordered mine 11/7. lol I know you guys are working hard at getting them out, i’m pretty patient

  6. Well, I was trying to say that having them made in China only adds about

  7. re: MoJo cut off

i think it’s cutting off when a dollar sign is encountered.

let’s test that: i’ll write USD one hundred dollars numerically…

    USD$100
