Thanks for coming out to the chat! Special thanks to Nathan from SparkFun who was our guest answering all your engineering questions with Ladyada! Also, kudos to Felicia Williams for the help running the show behind the scenes!

Stop breadboarding and soldering – start making immediately! Adafruit’s Circuit Playground is jam-packed with LEDs, sensors, buttons, alligator clip pads and more. Build projects with Circuit Playground in a few minutes with the drag-and-drop MakeCode programming site, learn computer science using the CS Discoveries class on, jump into CircuitPython to learn Python and hardware together, TinyGO, or even use the Arduino IDE. Circuit Playground Express is the newest and best Circuit Playground board, with support for CircuitPython, MakeCode, and Arduino. It has a powerful processor, 10 NeoPixels, mini speaker, InfraRed receive and transmit, two buttons, a switch, 14 alligator clip pads, and lots of sensors: capacitive touch, IR proximity, temperature, light, motion and sound. A whole wide world of electronics and coding is waiting for you, and it fits in the palm of your hand.

  1. Nothing to do with the chat (which was nuts!), but I’m totally jealous about that modular component tray setup behind you. That’s pretty sweet for organizing parts you’re using on a regular basis, or even tools. Haven’t come across anything similar here in Europe (though I probably haven’t looked hard enough either).

  2. kevin, they’re in every hardware equip. catalog here. called ‘akrobins’ (the original company who made them being Akro) but theres many knockoffs. the original akrobins are the best tho.

  3. Great chat session! With that many viewers an hour really wasn’t enough time 🙁 Could you guys set up an email where we could email you questions throughout the week and you guys go over them during the chat?

  4. it was fun, thanks for inviting me over!!

  5. The chat was fun this week! Keep up the great work. I think next week you can have phillip torrone be your special guest! Hehehe 😛

  6. I am totally bummed that I missed this chat! I have to pay more attention!

  7. Is there any way to download these chats after they have happened?

  8. not at this time.

  9. Fantastic chat! I love how companies just happen by accident. Thanks for sharing all the info.
