Hacker spaces? Panel meters? LCDs? Yep. It’s “Ask an Engineer”

It’s a little bit of everything in this week’s episode of “Ask an Engineer”, our LIVE weekly engineering podcast. Do you have a question you would like to ask? Join us every Saturday at 10PM EST. See you in the chat!

Make a robot friend with Adafruit’s CRICKIT – A Creative Robotics & Interactive Construction Kit. It’s an add-on to our popular Circuit Playground Express, FEATHER and other platforms to make and program robots with CircuitPython, MakeCode, and Arduino. Start controlling motors, servos, solenoids. You also get signal pins, capacitive touch sensors, a NeoPixel driver and amplified speaker output. It complements & extends your boards so you can still use all the goodies on the microcontroller, now you have a robotics playground as well.

  1. in my question (43:40) i was wondering about the smartmeters, not the old meters,…not sure if you’re familiar with it cause it’s more of a west coast thing i think right now

it looks like they have IR output and input
    and i think wireless too

and can be checked on a website

doesn’t matter too much i was just wondering what you thought
