Any chance you’ll do a detailed write up? I’ve never started from scratch trying to mod something. Would be nice to see a good report about how it is done etc etc.

In order to analyze the signals the Kinect is sending out, they need an XBox to receive those signals. So yes, they will be getting an XBox.
