Oh wow that desk is meant for RGB strip leds for the glass ! Nice strip mounted to the edge :)Perhaps some in the drawer spaces .

I like the ribbon allowing the vga card to be parallel to the wall.
I did something similar years ago in my Brooklyn loft. I hung the components by fishing line form the ceiling – it made a mobile that powered my geekness.
