Metropolis is German Expressionism, while these posters are in a late Soviet agitprop style. Both styles are very direct and unambiguous with their message, most of the time. And both styles use hard lines and exaggerated human forms. They are very similar.
I wish i had enough hair to worry about it getting wound rounf the drill 🙂
One of the safest things in Soviet Russia was to minimize heavy machinery exposure by getting drunk and out of work site way before noon
first poester says:
“Hide your hair”
second says:
“Do not clean cylinder while it is running”
in case if someone do not speak russian 😀
There was also this “nice” accident prevention series of stamps in Germany in the seventies.
