  1. So that is what you couldn’t tell us about on Saturday night’s show! Congratulations!

  2. You’re losing focus!

  3. *high-fives* all around!

  4. I particularly like the placement on the shelf next to the two idiotic covers on the left.

  5. Congratulations!

(That’s an interesting selection of magazines to contrast against. I see one great role model amongst a lot of fluff…Snooki? Seriously?)

  6. Just as the others say, you’re the best person on any of those covers.

  7. There was some rustle on the internet a few months ago about how Wired has had hypersexualized covers. Congrats on being a break from that depressing trend!

  8. Rosie the wirewrapper! Can’t wait to get this one in the mail!

  9. Wow, congrats! I’ll have to pick up an extra copy for my 10yo niece, who I helped build a drawdio a couple of years ago. She’ll dig it.

  10. There is so much right about this!! I love the placement of something “real” next to so much fake. Yes!

  11. That’s awesome! This should be a really great issue- mine should be in the mail Saturday. ๐Ÿ™‚

  12. Very, very cool!

  13. Very cool. Rushing out to get it today, best cover on the stand!

  14. Kickass LadyAda!

  15. Wow!!! Glad for you! ๐Ÿ™‚

  16. Epic Win!!!! ๐Ÿ˜€ You must give away an autographed copy as part of the next contest.

  17. Congrats!!

  18. Congrats on becoming a covergirl. ๐Ÿ™‚

  19. This is just outstanding — and I love this photo. Snooki rides a rocket, Limor builds one….

  20. Congratulations! ๐Ÿ™‚

  21. Congrats! Awesome to see this… I can’t wait to share the issue with my daughters.

  22. I do think this cover is very cool, but I’d like to reply to some of the comments. The other mags are entertainment mags. Of course Snooki should be on the cover, and there will be a bikini on the cover of the Sports Illustrated swimsuit edition. The Wired magazine is the only one out of the bunch that actually means to educate in any practical arena (though not knocking fashion) and it’s pretty clear someone moved it over to take this pic.

If you took a pic of the section it’s from – other pc and tech mags – this might be the only one with a girl on the cover, and all of a sudden it could be argued that it’s the worst of the bunch, not the best.

That said, I think this cover is a really excellent example of the kind of women many of us would like to be – beautiful, but not sleazy, capable and smart, but not to the exclusion of all else. Sexy for all the right reasons.
