Amazing DIY scanning electron microscope

Amazing DIY scanning electron microscope, thanks Robert!

Make a robot friend with Adafruit’s CRICKIT – A Creative Robotics & Interactive Construction Kit. It’s an add-on to our popular Circuit Playground Express, FEATHER and other platforms to make and program robots with CircuitPython, MakeCode, and Arduino. Start controlling motors, servos, solenoids. You also get signal pins, capacitive touch sensors, a NeoPixel driver and amplified speaker output. It complements & extends your boards so you can still use all the goodies on the microcontroller, now you have a robotics playground as well.

  1. This was a really great video–I didn’t previously know how scanning electron microscopes work. Thanks for doing it!

  2. Interesting project. Do you shield the bell jar during operation. It seems that this setup would create a lot of x-rays.

  3. “Eppur si muove”

This guy gets mad style points just for that badass control panel. He gets even more points for sharing it with the world, and opening himself up to criticism from all manner of troll.

    Props, dude. Crazy props.
