Make a robot friend with Adafruit’s CRICKIT – A Creative Robotics & Interactive Construction Kit. It’s an add-on to our popular Circuit Playground Express, FEATHER and other platforms to make and program robots with CircuitPython, MakeCode, and Arduino. Start controlling motors, servos, solenoids. You also get signal pins, capacitive touch sensors, a NeoPixel driver and amplified speaker output. It complements & extends your boards so you can still use all the goodies on the microcontroller, now you have a robotics playground as well.

  1. Nice! I love HIGNFY!

  2. plus Hislop’s guest Victoria Coren is also quite a nerd, last season (iirc) she calculated Scrabble scores in her head…

  3. Saw that and wondered if it was a reference to you…

(On a semi-related note, Have I Got News For You was the last place I expected to find an answer to the question of whether you can program PICs on Linux, but they did answer that question. No, apparently.)

  4. in case it’s geoblocked, the whole show: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=gLNcp9kk2Mk#t=36m28

  5. Too bad they didn’t have Adafruit send a Bedazzler to them so they could point it at the camera to show off it’s interesting visual stimulus.
