I have two other projects between now and when this contest ends (the day before my birthday!) so I won’t have time to do this. Here’s an idea and maybe someone will run with it:
Tweeting pet dish.
Parts: Arduino, Ethernet shield, force gauge hacked from a kitchen scale, and pet bowl sitting on the scale.
If weight < previous weight, tweet "I just ate (grams)"
If weight previous weight, “Thanks for feeding me!”
