  1. I dunno. Too many shows where the “Making” wouldn’t/couldn’t actually work (A team, Mission Impossible, McGyver), and almost completely lacking actual DIY shows (cooking, sewing, woodworking, home remodeling, etc.) This probably says something not so great about our society 🙁

    OTOH, the great thing about Maker Faire, Burning Man, Adafruit, and other players in the modern maker movement is that they DO manage to spur BOTH imagination AND the “hey, I *could* do that” thoughts…
