One of Ben Krasnow ongoing projects is to make a low-cost thermal imaging camera. In this video he opens up a cheap Extech IR250 infrared thermometer and shares some ideas for thermal imaging. It will be nice to see how it compares to the work Thermocam by Max Ritter. I can see a great use in testing skillets and heating units for reflow work.
