Dear Adafruit Industries,

I just wanted to let you know how excited I was to get my BMP085 prior to the hurricane reaching northeastern Massachusetts.

I rigged it up and logged samples for about 24 hours, you can see my
jury-rigged Arduino, the sensor, and the data here:

Thanks so much for the neat device, the great instructions and the sample Arduino library/code. Setup was a breeze! [pun half-intended]

Keep up the good work!

Make a robot friend with Adafruit’s CRICKIT – A Creative Robotics & Interactive Construction Kit. It’s an add-on to our popular Circuit Playground Express, FEATHER and other platforms to make and program robots with CircuitPython, MakeCode, and Arduino. Start controlling motors, servos, solenoids. You also get signal pins, capacitive touch sensors, a NeoPixel driver and amplified speaker output. It complements & extends your boards so you can still use all the goodies on the microcontroller, now you have a robotics playground as well.

  1. I love stories like this.

  2. I have a similar setup sending date to Pachube, you can see my feed here: https://pachube.com/feeds/25526

I think my barometer is about 2.2 kpa over the actual value. Could be due to my altitude or something.
