  2. A constant function and e^x were walking down the street, when they see a derivative coming toward them. The constant function yells, “If that derivative gets me, there’ll be nothing left of me!” and runs away. e^x confidently walks up to the derivative and says, “Hi, I’m e^x and you can’t hurt me!” “Hi, I’m the derivative with respect to y!” says the derivative, and e^x vanishes in a puff of smoke.

  5. @Sean: that was terrible, but I have to admit it gave me a pretty good laugh. the lesson is to beware derivatives, in all forms. 🙂

    @George: these jokes are getting worse at an exponential rate. 🙂
