A kinetic, autonomous instrument performing generative music based on real-time weather and environmental data. ESO was installed as part of the Weather Tunnel project during the TransLife New Media Art Triennial at the National Art Museum in Beijing China, July and August 2011.

  1. Very cool. The Minnesota Science Museum has something like this, on a much larger scale. Called the Seismofon, it chimes based on seismic data from around the globe.
