Make a robot friend with Adafruit’s CRICKIT – A Creative Robotics & Interactive Construction Kit. It’s an add-on to our popular Circuit Playground Express, FEATHER and other platforms to make and program robots with CircuitPython, MakeCode, and Arduino. Start controlling motors, servos, solenoids. You also get signal pins, capacitive touch sensors, a NeoPixel driver and amplified speaker output. It complements & extends your boards so you can still use all the goodies on the microcontroller, now you have a robotics playground as well.

  1. Alright then I’m gonna buy one I was just waiting for this

  2. However upgrading to iOS 5 doesn’t seem to make the 3GS any more consistent with MintyBoost.

And in case anyone is keeping score: running iOS 5 seems much MUCH quicker to consume battery than when I was running iOS 4 on the same device.

  3. @gonewest – the iphone 3gs has some physical hardware issues – http://www.adafruit.com/blog/2011/07/25/iphone-3gs-fix-charging-is-not-supported-with-this-accessory%c2%a0/

on a related note, if you check the apple forums there seems to be some battery issues with iOS5 in general too – lots of people are saying the battery life is less with iOS5 due to all the location based services and net polling with icloud.

our 4s was going down 10% per hour with siri when we had a location based reminder on.
