I had to see it to believe it, but it’s true. I went there tonight to pick up yet another breadboard, and lo and behold, they had Arduino Kits!

Make a robot friend with Adafruit’s CRICKIT – A Creative Robotics & Interactive Construction Kit. It’s an add-on to our popular Circuit Playground Express, FEATHER and other platforms to make and program robots with CircuitPython, MakeCode, and Arduino. Start controlling motors, servos, solenoids. You also get signal pins, capacitive touch sensors, a NeoPixel driver and amplified speaker output. It complements & extends your boards so you can still use all the goodies on the microcontroller, now you have a robotics playground as well.

  1. I checked mine on Saturday night. Nothing yet.

  2. My RS had only these two pre-packaged Make: retail kits. The UNO and 6 resistors and LEDs was $67, and the “Ultimate” with an LCD and UNO was $150. But nothing was priced, and the clerk did not even know they carried them. No servos, no Xbees, just some sensors. Again, not priced. •sigh•

  3. Our RS here had two of them, but I think they priced them for the price of the books that go along with them, which is $15. My friend took that offer up fast!

  4. Nothing at my shack in NC… I wonder if they will sell the avr with the bootloader aswell…

  5. Oh that would be awesome if Radio Shack had Arduino stuff! I am just getting started, and it would be very nice to not have to wait for things to arrive in the mail.
