sudo make me a sandwich has become a reality

TUM Rosie and PR2 James add popcorn and sandwiches to their accomplishments | Willow Garage.

As a bonus, PR2 fixes you popcorn while you wait. This is the latest in food-related acheivements from TUM’s Intelligent Autonomous Systems Group, which is part of the PR2 Beta Program. Over the past couple years, they’ve programmed their robots to learn to make food, including pancakes and Bavarian breakfast.  Instead of programming these tasks directly, their research enables robots to learn how to perform these tasks from instructions on the Internet and other resources.

Make a robot friend with Adafruit’s CRICKIT – A Creative Robotics & Interactive Construction Kit. It’s an add-on to our popular Circuit Playground Express, FEATHER and other platforms to make and program robots with CircuitPython, MakeCode, and Arduino. Start controlling motors, servos, solenoids. You also get signal pins, capacitive touch sensors, a NeoPixel driver and amplified speaker output. It complements & extends your boards so you can still use all the goodies on the microcontroller, now you have a robotics playground as well.
