Make a robot friend with Adafruit’s CRICKIT – A Creative Robotics & Interactive Construction Kit. It’s an add-on to our popular Circuit Playground Express, FEATHER and other platforms to make and program robots with CircuitPython, MakeCode, and Arduino. Start controlling motors, servos, solenoids. You also get signal pins, capacitive touch sensors, a NeoPixel driver and amplified speaker output. It complements & extends your boards so you can still use all the goodies on the microcontroller, now you have a robotics playground as well.

  1. Thanks.

The big battery works great — easily a couple of charges for the phone. It also worked with an iPad 3.

It would be nice to have a state-of-charge indicator…

  2. Watch out, the minty does not have an over discharge cutoff.. Its designed to keep pulling juice until the source battery runs dry. If you drain the lion battery I think it will become damaged. Just what I’ve read however, and anyone who knows better feel free to correct. 🙂

  3. Scott, that is not true – all Adafruit lithium ion batteries come with discharge-cutoff protection circuitry. Please read our lipoly tutorial http://ladyada.net/learn/lipoly/ to learn more about this topic! 🙂
