Over the past few months I’ve been building a 3D light painting robot. I’ve called the system Lightplot and have put together an animated test to demonstrate the project.
Pretty much everything is custom built and coded by myself. I’m currently working refining the hardware and software, but thought this test could interest your readers.
As a bit of background I currently work as a VFX supervisor for TV commercials, and have always had a fascination with stop motion and photography, so this has been a bit of a dream project.
