After a successful round of funding on Kickstarter to launch an “educational build-mobile,” SparkLab decided to take their mobile workshop on the road. They will be starting their summer-long roadtrip in San Francisco, and will wrap it up at Maker Faire New York on September 30th, stopping at roughly a dozen schools along the way.
The SparkTruck will be filled with a laser cutter, 3D printers, and other hands on tools that, due to budget constraints, most schools can’t afford. The goal is to train and excite the next generation of makers.
