Pi-Oopses
Here are the 22 previous incarnations of the Adafruit Pi Box – Enclosure for Raspberry Pi® Computers. Our team (Paint Your Dragon and Ladyada) spend a lot of time and effort to get it just right 🙂 We’re making these as fast as we can, sign up on the product page if we’re out of stock!

Stop breadboarding and soldering – start making immediately! Adafruit’s Circuit Playground is jam-packed with LEDs, sensors, buttons, alligator clip pads and more. Build projects with Circuit Playground in a few minutes with the drag-and-drop MakeCode programming site, learn computer science using the CS Discoveries class on code.org, jump into CircuitPython to learn Python and hardware together, or even use Arduino IDE. Circuit Playground Express is the newest and best Circuit Playground board, with support for MakeCode, CircuitPython, and Arduino. It has a powerful processor, 10 NeoPixels, mini speaker, InfraRed receive and transmit, two buttons, a switch, 14 alligator clip pads, and lots of sensors: capacitive touch, IR proximity, temperature, light, motion and sound. A whole wide world of electronics and coding is waiting for you, and it fits in the palm of your hand.

  1. Love the peek-behind-the-curtain! Thanks for working so hard on these, they’re great.

  2. We try to teach that iteration is good. Tell us more about your design process. What were your initial goals? What were the constraints? Was using hardware fasteners planned in the beginning and then removed? How long was the process? I see colors was that a plan or just sacrificial scraps? What CAD package? When did you decide that that it was time to make the next iteration. How did you decide you were done? After 22 iterations are Paint Your Dragon and Lady Ada still speaking? Perspiring minds want to know!

  3. Will any of those above colors be available in the future?
