Internet of Things” #IoT – The name of the friendly cloud entity IS…..
We have a series of
“Internet of Things” projects and products ( Tweet-a-watt, IoT printer, IoT camera, etc) – so we wanted to have a cute little friendly icon. Here’s what we came up with, *but* the cloud entity did not have a name so, we asked all of you here and on Google+ to post up suggestions, and the winner is… Nimbus! Thank you Anthony Clay for the suggestion!
We’re releasing Nimbus under a Creative Commons Attribution-ShareAlike 3.0 Unported License.
Here is a zip file with the artwork in a variety of formats, feel free to use Nimbus for your #IoT projects!
Make a robot friend with Adafruit’s
CRICKIT – A Creative Robotics & Interactive Construction Kit. It’s an add-on to our popular Circuit Playground Express, FEATHER and other platforms to make and program robots with CircuitPython, MakeCode, and Arduino. Start controlling motors, servos, solenoids. You also get signal pins, capacitive touch sensors, a NeoPixel driver and amplified speaker output. It complements & extends your boards so you can still use all the goodies on the microcontroller, now you have a robotics playground as well.
