Make a robot friend with Adafruit’s CRICKIT – A Creative Robotics & Interactive Construction Kit. It’s an add-on to our popular Circuit Playground Express, FEATHER and other platforms to make and program robots with CircuitPython, MakeCode, and Arduino. Start controlling motors, servos, solenoids. You also get signal pins, capacitive touch sensors, a NeoPixel driver and amplified speaker output. It complements & extends your boards so you can still use all the goodies on the microcontroller, now you have a robotics playground as well.

  1. Interesting that you’re not allowed to ‘express interest’ in the product (or even see anything beyond the video) unless you have a Facebook account. I guess that makes some kind of sense given the context of the product, but it does exclude those of us who aren’t into relentless corporate tracking.

  2. Neat concept. This looks just like the concept my youngest son came up with for his Design & Technology class at school. He even came up with a roadmap for its development and a dummy website for a company marketing it.
