For everyone who has ever been stuck at an intersection ready to punch a “Green Light” button, here is Andrew Tergis‘ cute Internet of Things Trafficlight Project:

The IoT Trafficlight is a physical traffic light that has been upgraded with internet connectivity. It uses a real-time messaging platform, BUGswarm, to turn the lights on and off as well as to report on other basic raspberry pi system parameters.
