Open Hardware Summit bag of goodies! #ohs @ohsummit

Ohsbag

We unpacked our swag bag from the Open Hardware Summit, and found some neat things including a Parallax robot badge kit and LEGO badges by EMSL. Of course we contributed open source hardware badges! We got two bags, so we’re giving one away this Saturday night on Ask an Engineer.

Make a robot friend with Adafruit’s CRICKIT – A Creative Robotics & Interactive Construction Kit. It’s an add-on to our popular Circuit Playground Express, FEATHER and other platforms to make and program robots with CircuitPython, MakeCode, and Arduino. Start controlling motors, servos, solenoids. You also get signal pins, capacitive touch sensors, a NeoPixel driver and amplified speaker output. It complements & extends your boards so you can still use all the goodies on the microcontroller, now you have a robotics playground as well.

  1. I didn’t get everything you did. What looks like parallax branded breakout boards, the pink bag over the ohs program guide, or the pink bag over the launchpad. Mind letting us know what those three things are?

  2. NeXT-Generation

Maybe some of those new BASICChips?
