3D printers build to your spec, so creating simple enclosures, brackets, box divisions, etc., is no longer a scramble through supply catalogues, a visit to a big box store, or a half hour with a file or mill: it is a few minutes with some calipers or a ruler, and a parametric design tool like OpenSCAD.
With our Minty Boost kit, we introduced a mint-tin form factor that has been useful for a number of projects out in the world, and this usefulness has spilled over to the 3D printing world. Check out Beth Scott‘s elegantly simple parametric Pill box insert (above), which fits nicely into our Mint Tin Box.
