Update: Parts of southern NYC getting power, no power at Adafruit yet. Our home now has power so we’re getting back there now but our building in SoHo is still without power due to the explosion on 14th street. The expected time for power restoration in 1-2 days.

I gotta say that given the extent of the damage and destruction, I think the repair & support crews are really doing well. This was an unprecedented natural disaster and although there is tremendous, painful disruption spread across a large, densely populated region, to get some things back up in anything less than a week is an achievement. The logistical problems being addressed are stunning.
Keep warm. You should see things improving significantly over the next week as the recovery effort gets full traction.
