Atmel Wi-Fi buy aimed at Internet of Things via Freaklabs.
Atmel Corp., a vendor of microcontrollers and touch technology, is buying Ozmo Inc., a provider of low-power Wi-Fi for an undisclosed amount of money. Atmel said it will the use the technology that comes with Ozmo to help it address wireless applications and in particular devices targeted at the
Internet of Things (IoT).
