Capacitive Touch with Conductive Fabric & Flora #WearableWednesday
It’s easy to use Arduino’s CapSense library with Flora to make conductive fabric touch sensors! You can make soft game controllers, stereo remote pillows, interactive plush toys, or touch-sensitive clothes. Check out the
complete tutorial on the Adafruit Learning System, and watch the video on YouTube (please subscribe!) and Vimeo.
Every Wednesday is Wearable Wednesday here at Adafruit! We’re bringing you the blinkiest, most fashionable, innovative, and useful wearables from around the web and in our own original projects featuring our wearable Arduino-compatible platform, FLORA. Be sure to post up your wearables projects in the forums or send us a link and you might be featured here on Wearable Wednesday!
Make a robot friend with Adafruit’s
CRICKIT – A Creative Robotics & Interactive Construction Kit. It’s an add-on to our popular Circuit Playground Express, FEATHER and other platforms to make and program robots with CircuitPython, MakeCode, and Arduino. Start controlling motors, servos, solenoids. You also get signal pins, capacitive touch sensors, a NeoPixel driver and amplified speaker output. It complements & extends your boards so you can still use all the goodies on the microcontroller, now you have a robotics playground as well.
