Very nice build- we’ve been talking about something similar for scooter and bike riders here on Maui. These folks are hard to see normally, and given how many ride in the rain, with even less visibility, the packs would be great.
Couple things I was thinking about with the design/project…
1) Flora is about as easy to get as a Raspberry Pi these days – which for most of us means not at all. Backorders may come in but the wait list seems longer than the shipped supplies.
Since you are not sewing any connections to the Flora, any arduino compatible would do. Teensy or Arduino Micro should be sufficient (although the 3.3v accelerometer would need level shifter).
