God i’m old, i remember Bertha but completely forgotten all about her until now. That kind of animation is very rare these days, back then we had postman pat, bagpuss, the wombles, Bertha, the moomins, Morph, Trapdoor, The Clangers, The Magic Roundabout – These days it just seems its all CGI, shame really.
The obvious name is Sam. I know a dragon name seemed right but Sam is a soft shortening of Samsung. And Glee spoiled Pick.
