Short movie of the 59-Pixel coat changing colors. It’s running a somewhat altered version of the original Floratest sketch. Because of the power issues, the color changing and the colors they change to can be unpredictable, but that’s fine.
Thank you all for what you do, and the things you find or create to fulfill every e-textile worker’s hopes. I’ve occasionally thought of attaching a tag to a light-up garment that says “Powered by Adafruit Industries.” I give all the places I get parts and pieces from full credit in talking about it though.
Flora RGB Smart Neo Pixel version 2 – Pack of 4 – What’s a wearable project without LEDs? Our favorite part of the Flora platform is these tiny smart pixels. Designed specifically for wearables, these updated Flora NeoPixels have ultra-cool technology: these ultra-bright LEDs have a constant-current driver cooked right into the LED package! The pixels are chainable – so you only need 1 pin/wire to control as many LEDs as you like. They’re easy to sew, and the chainable design means no crossed threads.
