How do you keep a geek in suspense? Post a seven part making-of series one segment per day. I was already all fanboy-asquee over this giant mech robot that stormed Comic Con last month…the topper today was spotting some Adafruit gear in the mix (Wave Shield being assembled at 0:49 in the video — trust me, you come to recognize these things like you do faces). Exactly how this features, and what other parts might be in there, we won’t know ’til the rest is published over the course of the week.
Make a robot friend with Adafruit’s CRICKIT – A Creative Robotics & Interactive Construction Kit. It’s an add-on to our popular Circuit Playground Express, FEATHER and other platforms to make and program robots with CircuitPython, MakeCode, and Arduino. Start controlling motors, servos, solenoids. You also get signal pins, capacitive touch sensors, a NeoPixel driver and amplified speaker output. It complements & extends your boards so you can still use all the goodies on the microcontroller, now you have a robotics playground as well.
