A mid 60s American documentary illustrating the design, build and use of the Apollo Guidance Computer. From the Spacecraft Films DVD “Mission To The Moon” which contains 10 rare documentaries. Well worth the money.

Somehow the Apollo missions seems so much more badass knowing that some gutsy guys were out in space, with no hope of rescue should things go wrong, relying on a bunch of wire-wrapped circuits and ferrite cores to get them home.
If they could do amazing things with 1960’s level of technology, imagine what can Makers achieve with what we have at our disposal?
Dream big I say 🙂
