We have previously featured some intricate eggshell sculptures, but Vietnamese artist Ben Tre goes one step further by turning them into lamps.
Making full use of the translucent nature of these eggshells, the artist inserts an LED light in each work of art to illuminate it. Each carving is different from the next as the artist engraves abstract shapes, scenes from Vietnam, and even portraits of famous people, using different colored lights to encapsulate the feel of each “painting”.
