Elektroniktüftler/innen und Handwerkskünstler/innen, zwei unterschlidliche Disziplinen die beide von fachlichem Wissen und handwerklichem Geschick profetieren. In diesem Workshop vermischen wir die Grenzen dieser Disziplinen und fragen uns: Wie können und wollen wir in zukunft bauen? Wie können sich Elektronik- und Handwerksdisziplinen ergänzen statt auszugrenzen? Wer kann ein Schaltkreis auf ein Ei mahlen? Ein USB Band weben? Eine Lederhose als Handy entwerfen? Ein Lautsprecher in Spitze knöppeln? Oder ein Spiel stricken? Das Alles, und Mehr erkunden wir in diesem Workshop in dem wir es einfach mal versuchen.

I think this idea is beautiful and the futuristic designs are stunning with the natural materials. Even though I can’t go to Salzburg but I plan to accept the challenge in my free time.

Loden sensor:
Gestrickter Fleck im Lodenstil aus Filzwolle und leitendem stahlfaser Garn. Drücken, dehnen und quetschen des Flecks hat den Effekt, dass die stalfasern besseren elektrischen Kontakt machen und das Material mehr leited. Diese elektrische Veränderung kann gemessen und als Sensorwerte verwendet werden.

Lederkopfhörer:
In diesem Beispiel wurde die elektromagnetische spriale die teil des Lautsprechers ist, mit leitendem Faden direkt in das Leder eingestickt. Dahinter ein kleiner magnet montiert und mit dem rest des gestickten Schaltkresise verbunden. So kann man nun durchs leder seine MP3s hören.
