#3DxMathematics – Seesaw Maths by Gyrobot #3DThursday #3DPrinting
The team at Gyrobot created this teaching aid to help teach basic arithmetic/physics concepts: Thingiverse Thing 182549. This type of “math manipulative” is one way that teachers are exploring using 3D printers to physically demonstrate math and science concepts to young students:
A hands on teaching aid which helps pupils understand addition, subtraction, multiplication and division.
Does not give you the answer, but tells you if you are correct via a balanced seesaw.
Also helpful in science, understanding leverage, fulcrums, moments and gravity.
