Here’s a quick and easy wearable using our new
LED backlight and a magnetic pin back, powered by a 3xAAA battery pack.
Peel off the protective backing from the metal bar and stick the exposed adhesive to the back of the LED backlight. Trim the LED leads short as shown.
male-to-female jumper wires to plug the battery pack into the LED backlight (LEDs are polar, so if it doesn’t light up right away try switching the wires and be sure your battery pack is ON).
Place the magnetic bar on the inside of your garment or bag, and it will stick to the metal bar, affixing the panel to your person.
Wear and enjoy!

Make a robot friend with Adafruit’s
CRICKIT – A Creative Robotics & Interactive Construction Kit. It’s an add-on to our popular Circuit Playground Express, FEATHER and other platforms to make and program robots with CircuitPython, MakeCode, and Arduino. Start controlling motors, servos, solenoids. You also get signal pins, capacitive touch sensors, a NeoPixel driver and amplified speaker output. It complements & extends your boards so you can still use all the goodies on the microcontroller, now you have a robotics playground as well.
