MakerBot announced at CES their new line up of 3D printers, MakerBot Apps, and “Original, Fun, Collectible Digital Content” that can now be purchased from their 3D digital model pay-store. See a photo below for their in-progress Replicator Mini. From their blog announcement:
We’re thrilled to announce:
- Three new 3D printers, our fifth generation, running on the MakerBot Replicator Platform that features the new MakerBot Replicator Smart Extruder, an on-board camera, and Wi-Fi capability;
- Three new MakerBot apps, which make it easier than ever to explore the world of 3D printing from your desktop and mobile devices; and
- The groundbreaking MakerBot Digital Store, selling original, fun, and collectible digital content.
There’s so much to tell, it’s hard to know where to begin! We do know we’re excited to see what creative journeys you’ll take and design challenges you’ll solve with these latest additions to our expanding MakerBot 3D Ecosystem.
