Wired has a list of the best space photos of the year and they are truly incredible. 2013 was a great year for science and space especially and these photographs reflect that.

Highlights include young stars being born in the Large Magellanic Cloud, new views of both the Andromeda Galaxy and Horsehead Nebula, and the achingly beautiful picture of Saturn above.
