Check out these incredible sculptures from artist Seung Yul Oh via Hypebeast. They look good enough to eat!
Mixing an interest in one of the world’s most universal foods with a knack for sculpture, here we point a spotlight on New Zealand-based artist Seung Yul Oh and his food-inflected work. Gastronomy defies gravity in this collection of pieces, where Yul Oh recreates traditional Korean noodle dishes out of epoxy resin, silicone, steel and aluminum. The noodles extend from the bowl – which also features sculpted eggs, vegetables and broth – 12 feet into space, wittily completed with a pair of floating chopsticks. An interesting illusory experiment with food and materials, enjoy a look at the sculptures above.
